Mindfulness
There are many, many ways to practice mindfulness. Some of these methods are designed to help combat stress or anxiety, while others simply allow you to take the time to focus on your own thoughts and feelings. In this post we will go over some common mindfulness techniques and how they can be used in a variety of different situations.
Mindfulness is a concept of paying attention in the present moment with a nonjudgmental attitude, which was popularized by Jon Kabat-Zinn's 1990s mindfulness-based stress reduction program. By focusing on present thoughts and sensations, we can stay grounded in the here and now instead of getting caught up in worries about the future or regrets about the past.
Mindfulness is being in the moment. It's a practice that can help you to be present, accept whatever is going on, and let go of stress more easily.
When you’re mindful, you'll slow down and appreciate the present moment. You’ll find more enjoyment in the things you do, and spend less time worrying about the future or ruminating about the past.
